The minimum dollar value for an order is $30 in poultry, excluding male only chick orders.
There is no minimum number of chicks you can order as long as your total order of poultry is $30, not including shipping and handling.
If your order consists of a very small number of items (less than the equivalent of a quarter of a box), there may be male chicks placed in the box for warmth or comfort during shipping. The breed of chicks included varies from order to order and unfortunately we are unable to identify the breed. You may purchase heat packs or extra straw if you do not want to have the males included with your order.
Any order cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled hatch date will be charged a $20.00 processing fee.
Small Order Charges
For ship orders of less than one full box, add $7.00 handling charge and for ship orders between one and two full boxes, add $2.00 handling charges.
Returned Check Charge
Ideal will charge $25.00 for any check returned by a financial institution to Ideal.
Assortments will be IDEAL’s choice of breeds available after specific breed orders have been filled. Every attempt will be made to provide the best assortment possible.
Because demand for ducks exceeds supply, the two weeks prior to Easter (Hatches April 8th - April 17th) natural colored ducks will be $1.00 higher than the regularly quoted prices.
90% Sexing Accuracy Guaranteed – If greater than 10% males are received in a pullet order of 25 or more, IDEAL will refund the difference between pullet and male price for all excess males. IDEAL makes no guarantee of sex when male chicks are purchased nor does IDEAL guarantee the percent of pullets in straight run chicks except that they will be boxed as hatched.
All poultry will be boxed according to the weather, so the poultry will have the best chance of survival. Breeds and sexes will be mixed. Unless indicated by you, breeds and sexes will not be marked.
Add $1.00 service charge for each variety or sex of less than one-fourth box.
